Working on my daemon

I am working on my daemon prince and herald. Picture here from forgeworld.

For a colourscheme I am going to give it red skin, thats for sure, but I was wondering about the armor. I was contemplating black armor, with bronce lining. What does people think about that?

Lord commander Solar Macharius Vol. 2

I had some better pictures taken (and more) of the 3 models I did during august.

The Macharius I enjoyed especially because its the first pure gold model I've painted since Commander Dante more than 10 years ago.

Here goes:

And then some proper pictures of the dark angel captain I painted. Its my third spacemarine in all these years. I find it difficult to paint powerarmor when I am used to painting muscles, buts I enjoyed it and hope the owner is satisfied.
